who is douglas palma ?

I'm Douglas Palma, and I am 16 years old. I was born in Hickory NC. My family moved here from Miami Florida. I honestly wish they could have stayed there because I don't like the cold. I go to Florida ever summer and thanks giving. It is really fun there. Every time I go there, their  is always something to do. The beach in Miami is so amazing and so are the women. Florida where all my family lives. I only have my godparents here, which is closest to family.  I play two sports soccer, and I just started playing tennis. I play soccer for the school and CVYSA(travel soccer). I am a midfielder and sometimes play forward. We were really close on winning states for soccer my sophomore year. The newton conover soccer team made it to the western regional finals. This is my first year playing tennis. I'm not nervous really because I love sports given the fact that its good for your health, and it looks good on college resume. I was inducted  in the National Honors Society my sophomore year and currently in it right now! I want to go to college in charlotte to study business administration. I love the city, its so alive there. I want to live in the city in the future. I am the type of person to never give up. I like to travel and meet new people. The one thing that I am afraid of is failure, so I'll do anything to keep that thought out my mind and to succeed in everything I do. I want to learn a lot more before I enter the "real" world so I hope English 3 helps me learn the literature part of it. This is just my current intro, hopefully when I 'm writing my intro to a college professor, it will be a little more interesting.

  1. Hey man it's Trey. While I was reading your blog I noticed that you also want to go to college at UNC Charlotte. In my opinion Charlotte is a great place to go to college, you will always find yourself with something to do. Miami is also one of my favorite places to go, it seems like it is always warm there and something to do. Also good luck next year in soccer.
